During spring time we work with the wood element. This elements relates to change and growth. The energy of wood promotes regeneration which is why spring time is perfect for practicing yin yoga with this element. 🌸
The wood elements supports the liver and gallbladder meridians. Meridian are energy pathways in the body.
The liver meridian runs upward from the big toe to the groin and continues through the diaphragm all the way to the crown of the head.
The gallbladder runs down from the outer eye zigzags through the ribs and the outside of the leg and ends at the second toe.
